About

It’s a journey of initiation. It begins with the memory of childhood — the image of a child lying on the bed, gazing at the large white ceiling, which later becomes the white canvas. From this comes a vital need to tell one’s own story. Through painting, the path reverses — tracing back to one’s origins, being reborn in order to see and paint the world anew. Then comes the present: a glimpse of the artist in the studio, at work… After this sequence, we move into the present — a view of the artist in his studio, at work. He explains his creative process: “Painting without touching the canvas.” Tracking his path backwards, the artist talks about his own birth, about his need to make contact with the world. The film ends with an attempt to heal the rift between the self and the outside world. This film is not just a simple inventory; it’s an immersion into the inner world of an artist and how it changes with time. It helps us understand what drives an artist to speak about himself, the outside world, and the relationship between the two. Far from being a stylistic exercise, it’s a deep research — an introspective work. A human being looking at himself and his place on Earth.
